Day-Wise Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Athens
Arrive at Athens International Airport. Meet your representative and transfer to your hotel. Spend your evening in the Plaka district, the oldest neighborhood in Athens, filled with neoclassical houses and charming cafes. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2: Athens City Tour & Acropolis
Explore the foundations of Western civilization. Visit the Acropolis to see the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike. Continue to the Panathenaic Stadium (site of the first modern Olympics) and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Athens.
Day 3: Athens to Mykonos (High-Speed Ferry)
Early morning transfer to Piraeus Port for your high-speed ferry to Mykonos. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon wandering through the "Little Venice" area and taking photos of the famous 16th-century windmills. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 4: Mykonos Beach & Nightlife
Free day to enjoy the cosmopolitan vibe of Mykonos. Relax at Psarou or Paradise Beach, or take an optional boat trip to the nearby sacred island of Delos, the mythological birthplace of Apollo. In the evening, explore the vibrant nightlife in Mykonos Town. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 5: Mykonos to Santorini (High-Speed Ferry)
Board a morning ferry to Santorini. As you enter the caldera, enjoy one of the most spectacular views in the world. Transfer to your hotel. In the evening, head to the village of Oia to witness the world-famous Santorini sunset. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 6: Volcano Cruise & Hot Springs
Take a boat excursion to the Nea Kameni volcanic island. Hike up to the crater and later swim in the therapeutic orange-colored hot springs of Palea Kameni. End your day with a visit to a local winery to sample the unique volcanic wines. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 7: Santorini to Athens (Ferry/Flight)
Spend your morning shopping for local jewelry or crafts in Fira. In the afternoon, take the ferry (or a short flight upgrade) back to Athens. Transfer to your hotel for your final night. Enjoy a farewell dinner with a view of the lit-up Acropolis. Overnight in Athens.
Day 8: Departure from Athens
Enjoy a final Greek breakfast of yogurt and honey. Depending on your flight time, do some last-minute shopping at Ermou Street. Transfer to Athens International Airport for your departure flight.
Important Notes for Clients
Ferry Travel: High-speed ferries are the most efficient way to travel between islands; however, they can occasionally be delayed due to "Meltemi" winds in the summer.
Walking: Both Mykonos and Santorini are pedestrian-heavy with many stairs and cobblestones. Comfortable footwear is highly recommended.
Best Time to Visit: May to June and September to early October offer perfect weather and fewer crowds than the mid-summer peak.
